Together with our partners, we implement Data Center projects efficiently and take responsibility for the service and maintenance of the systems. High quality and versatile Data Center solutions
The equipment cabinets manufactured by Conteg in Europe are designed with the specific needs of data Centers in mind and are consistently praised by users for their robustness and versatility of accessories. In addition to all basic sizes, cabinets are available in heights up to 52U. When choosing the 800 mm wide Conteg cabinet, an additional 24 U-slots outside the 19″ frame are available. With these additional slots, a standard 42U high cabinet has 66U slots available and a 52U high cabinet up to 76U slots.

 

Energy-efficient data Center solutions
Energy-efficient data Center solutions start with efficient separation of hot and cold air around the server cabinet. The mixing of hot and cold can be prevented through versatile cold/hot aisle implementations or Closed Loop solutions for air circulation inside the cabinets. Energy-efficient cooling is completed by air separation frames that stop air flowing past the 19″ frame and blanking panels installed in empty U-slots in the rack.

 

Efficient server room cooling is provided by In-Row cooling units ranging from 15 kW to over 80 kW. Comprehensive portfolio of In-Row units offer 4 different cooling technologies. Our In-Row cooling units are equipped with energy efficient EC fans and an intuitive touch screen for checking the status of the cooling units and changing the settings. The pipe connections of the cooling units can be brought from below or above the unit. As a novelty for cooling the server room, we offer a highly energy efficient CoolTop unit that leaves the floor space free. Server room cooling can be done also with traditional CRAH and CRAC units. Outdoor chillers and dry coolers completes the wide portfolio of the cooling systems available from DCI Solutions.

 

Effective monitoring of conditions in the Data Centers ensures reliable services

Server room conditions are monitored with the versatile and easy-to-use RAMOS monitoring system. RAMOS sensors for temperature, humidity, leakage, etc. provide a clear and real-time picture of the conditions in the data hall and the system will alert you to changes in conditions if required.

 

To function, Data Center solutions also require a reliable and stable power distribution. The Starline busbar system is designed to guarantee the functionality of the power distribution to the Data Center. The size of the busbar can be selected according to your needs, from 160 A up to 1200 A. The tap off units can be freely positioned on the open rail exactly where the power supply is needed. The tap off units are always tailored according to customer specifications and can be equipped with different metering options.

 

The most flexible way of ensuring uninterrupted power supply is to use a modular UPS system. Modularity ensures that investments are targeted to the needs of the load in use, with modules being added as the load in the Data Center increases.

 

Modern Data Center solutions often include real-time electricity consumption measurement. Packet Power metering is easy to install in a new or existing Data Center. In practice, the metering can be done at the exact point and level required, such as server, rack, rack-row, or Data Center level.

 

Network cabling and equipment

Data Center solutions need a high-quality internal cabling. Cabling is done with modular products such as prefabricated Cat6A and fiber segments to minimize the installation work in the hall. In fiber optics, MPO/MTP products designed specifically for Data Center solutions are becoming more common as higher data rates increase. The modularity of cabling and panels makes it easy to implement various additions and modifications.

 

Naturally, the Data Center solutions we offer include high quality network equipment. Typically, a Data Center requires large numbers of ports and high-speed interfaces combined with high throughput. We can provide scalable solutions for both switching and routing, suitable for different network topologies. In addition to Data Center solutions, the range of equipment extends to office and industrial products.

 

Connecting Data Centers often requires a large amount of fiber. The number of fibers required can be substantially reduced with WDM. The security and encryption level of a WDM system is chosen according to the criticality of the data to be transmitted and, for example, the length of the transmission link.

 

The clocking of the data systems at the same time to ensure correct operation of the systems is done by NTP time servers. DCI Solutions supplies NTP and PTP servers ranging from single devices to a wide range of modular solutions.
